Yukon

Yukon is the Indian word for 'Big River' - the Yukon River, second longest in Canada, 2316 miles from its headwaters to the Bering Sea. But everything is big in the Yukon. It has the largest mountain mass in the world (Mount Logan 19520 feet high and 100 miles around), the world's largest non-polar incfield (mt St. Elias and five other peaks), a huge system of interconnected inland fiord lakes, and a variety of habitats for wildlife.
